Boulder Wedding

Boulder (401N 10516W, Mountain Time Zone) is a city in Boulder County, Colorado, United States. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 94,673. It is home to the University of Colorado at Boulder, the largest university in Colorado. Boulder's elevation is 5,430 feet (1,655 meters) and it is 25 miles (40 km) northwest of Denver. Boulder has the eighth greatest population among Colorado's cities and is the largest city and county seat of Boulder CountyGR6.

Boulder is in Boulder Valley where the Rocky Mountains meet the Great Plains. Just west of the city are imposing slabs of sedimentary stone tilted up on the foothills, known as The Flatirons. The Flatirons are a traditional symbol of Boulder, and they often appear on city-related paraphernalia.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 65.7 km (25.4 mi). 63.1 km (24.4 mi) of it is land and 2.6 km (1.0 mi) of it (3.94%) is water.
